Hello everyone.
How are you?
Your online activity this week is to look for a current international conference you would like to take part in. After that, post the link of the conference you have selected or paste the flyer here (if possible). Try to summarize the most important information about the conference, similar to what you read on the flyers you have studied in class. Then, explain why you would like to participate in this conference.
If you need, you can browse in this link: http://www.conference-service.com/conferences
This activity is due October 10th, 8a.m.
Have a great week.
Regards,
Claudia

ResponderExcluirThe conference I would like to take part in is EACR-Anticancer Agents Research Congress. This Congress intends to present and discuss the latest discoveries in the field of anti cancer’s research, focusing on the mechanisms at molecular and cellular levels. The EACR happens on October 13-16 at Turkey, where many experts will expose their achievements in anti cancer drug development from Nano carriers to Plant-based anti cancer agents.
I would like to participate in this Conference because I am really interested in researching applied to Medicine. As scientists, we are able to develop new techniques to treat diseases, as Cancer, which is responsible for thousands of deaths worldwide. This Congress provides the opportunity of discussing innovation in anti cancer’s research. Moreover, it makes possible that researchers from different fields, including Biomolecular Sciences, connect their ideas to implement new treatments for Cancer. Besides that, I have been doing my undergraduate project at the Nanotechnology Laboratory in IFSC, where we research nano carriers. So, taking part of this congress would be an amazing experience to learn new techniques and applications related to anti cancer agents and nanotechnology. Also, it would be a great opportunity to present the latest experiments and results of our Laboratory.

It has become apparent that RNA plays a major, but still largely unexplored, role in the regulation of gene expression. It is becoming increasingly evident that longer forms of non-protein-coding RNAs (ncRNAs) are involved directly in regulating gene expression and epigenetic states. These long ncRNAs appear to be functioning as an endogenous RNA regulatory system, playing a major role in the epigenetic control of differentiation and development. These observations, across various model systems, strongly suggest that long ncRNAs are more intricately involved in the regulation of gene expression than previously envisioned. The goal of the Keystone Symposia meeting on Non-Coding RNAs is to highlight the similarities and differences in various model systems to better understand the role of long ncRNAs in the regulation of genomes. This is an entirely new emerging field of study that is on the forefront of modern biology. Opportunities for interdisciplinary interactions will be significantly enhanced by the concurrent meeting on Eukaryotic Transcription, which will share a plenary session with this meeting.
------------------------------------------------
The understanding of the regulation of gene expression is essential for the development of modern biology. A well-controled gene expression is responsible for the maintance of life, by controlling the rate of production of all of the proteins that are present in an organism. It is believed that longer forms of ncRNAs are involved directly in regulation gene expression and epigenetic states. The goal of the Keystone Symposia meeting on Non-Coding RNAs is to understand the role of these longer forms of ncRNAs in the regulation of genomes by the exposure of similarities and differences in various model systems.
I would like to participate of this meeting because understand the regulation of gene espression is essential for the development of a way to control these gene expression pathways, which would revolutionize the prevention and treatment of diseases, well as the development of new drugs.

ResponderExcluirThe aim of this conference is nonlinear systems. This is an interdisciplinary area of studying, most real systems are extremely complex and using graphs theory and statistics physics we can find a model or a better way to Analise it. Some examples of application is economy, hydrodynamics, fractals, neural networks, sustainable development, almost everything And the best of all, it have huge work possibilities. I want work with economic analysis using statistics physics, and this conference talks about that.

ResponderExcluirBreast MRI: Science, Technique, and Interpretation,Including Clinical Correlation & Recent Developments
This conference is about the aplication of the Magnetic Ressonance Imaging (MRI) technics on the diagnostic of, particularly, breast cancer.
I think it's an important topic to discuss becouse this type of cancer is affecting many women today and really needs improvements on diagnostic and less invasive treatments.
